1. Purpose
These terms govern the use of the Marsatna marketplace, available at marsatna.mr. By using the platform, you accept these terms in full.
2. Sign-up and user account
Sign-up is free and done via your WhatsApp number. Each phone number can only be linked to a single account. You are responsible for the confidentiality of your 4-digit PIN and any activity on your account.
3. Seller status
To sell on Marsatna, you must submit an application with a valid ID (national ID, passport, license or resident card). Marsatna reserves the right to accept or reject any application.
4. Products and listings
The seller guarantees that the products they publish are their property, in good condition matching the description, and do not violate any Mauritanian law. Prohibited products include: weapons, drugs, counterfeits, protected animals.
5. Orders and payment
Orders are paid via Mauritanian mobile wallets (Bankily, Sedad, Masrvi, Click). Marsatna acts as a trusted third party: funds are held until actual delivery.
6. Marsatna commission
Marsatna takes a 10% commission by default on each successful transaction. This commission may vary by category and negotiated volume.
7. Delivery
Delivery is organized between the seller and the buyer, with the lead times shown on the product page. In case of dispute, Marsatna may step in to mediate.
8. Returns and refunds
The buyer has 7 days after delivery to report a problem. The refund is made to the original wallet within 5 business days.
9. Liability
Marsatna is a technical intermediary between buyers and sellers. We are not responsible for the quality of products sold or for direct disputes between parties, but we commit to actively moderating the platform.
10. Changes
Marsatna may change these terms at any time. Users are notified by WhatsApp and email. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by Mauritanian law. Any dispute will be brought before the competent courts of Nouakchott.
